February being the most beautiful month of the year, the demise of the chilly weather and the welcoming of spring combines to perfectly poise the air. Since my childhood, I’ve always observed a series of events in this month.  The wedding drama, award shows, welcoming the new year, the warming celebrations can go on.The most exciting of all the hype is the V-day, ahem.. don’t get me wrong.. its the VALENTINE’S DAY.The love is in the breeze, love for food, love for nature, love for family, love for spouses, love for boyfriends or girlfriends, love for friends. To me, valentine’s day doesn’t hold a stereotypical lovers day. Loving yourself is the most credible feeling amongst the most, and once you love yourself, everything around you becomes your valentine. I’ve lately spent a bulk of my time in self discovery and the feeling is innate. Okayy, now that’s too deep.

Valentine’s day is just another day to me, I’d just quirk it up and use it as an excuse to dress up. I love dressing up, and dressing up is always a challenge to me. I challenge myself everyday, waking up late and counting just 15 mins to dress up and yet look like I spent an hour. Picking the weirdest pieces from my closet and playing it different…

There are just three things I’d probably do this Valentines..  watch ‘Fifty Shades Darker’, go on a lunch date with my girlies, go for a dance dinner because I love to dance.

I put up the looks I’d probably wear if I happen to go out with my girlfriends. The looks are edgy, mod and most importantly extremely comfortable and easy to carry.

Outfit 1: The Movie Date.
Since a movie calls for coz and comfort and velvet being in trend now! I wore a simple sweatshirt, with a pair of velvet leggings and my statement white fringe bag.
Leggings: 2 Xtremz, by Splash, Bag : H&M.
Sweat shirt: ONLY, India.

Outfit 2: Lunch date.
The V-Day is never complete without a red dress, this look is not too dressy, but adds a costumed spring-summer vibe. Wear a red and white stripped body con dress.
Accessorized this with a pair of blue reflectors and my go-to Michael Kors Fulton wallet.

Wore white oxfords to neutralize the pop of red.
Dress: 2 Xtremz by Splash, Shoes:, Reflectors: Jack&Jones India, Wallet: Michael Kors Fulton Carryall Wallet in the color ‘ADMIRAL’.
Shoes: AJIO
Outfit 3: Date Night.
The themed red pattern is not what I’d prefer. My dress has a ‘HEART’ detail on the back which totally adds to the gusto.
I put it together with a my signature silver pumps, a black sling bag and a headband.
Pumps: Prince Shoes, Kuwait.
To add to the night look, to topped it with a bold plum lipshade from Nykaa.
Dress: New Look, Headband: Lifestyle.
Lipstick: Nykaa So Matte Fall Winter Collection- SUGAR PLUM MARTINI.
Day time lip color: Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Matte Lipstick Matte 7. (click here for the link)
Nude nail paint: Nykaa Matte nail paint- Almond Crumble. (click here for the link)
Classic red nails: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche A L’Huile Nail Paint – 442 Coral Trianon

  1. Fashion has always been a repetition of ideas…But what makes it new is the way you put it together….
you proved it by wearing as example!!!!

Fashion has to reflect who you are, what you feel at the moment, where you’re going….
    You are the best !!!
Appreciated your ideas and craft works….
